The Plastic Delta Trap is a reusable triangular insect pest surveillance trap designed for use with species-specific pheromone lures.
It is commonly used to support moth detection, seasonal activity tracking, and population monitoring for species such as Tuta absoluta, Lobesia botrana, and Grapholita molesta in agricultural and regulatory surveillance programs.
Design & Function
The trap includes a suspended lure holder that keeps the pheromone lure separated from the adhesive surface.
Target insects are attracted by the lure and captured on a replaceable sticky insert placed inside the trap.
The rigid plastic body supports repeated field use, while the removable insert allows routine inspection, servicing, and replacement during field surveillance.
