Paper Delta Trap
Paper Delta Trap
The Paper Delta Trap is a versatile, bi-directional insect pest surveillance trap designed for pheromone- and lure-based detection programs that require a treated paperboard triangular trap with reliable field performance.
Its delta-shaped structure supports consistent airflow and effective insect entry, making it suitable for routine surveillance of moths and other flying insect pests in agricultural and regulatory programs.
Manufactured from treated paperboard, the trap is designed to maintain its shape and functionality under typical field conditions and has demonstrated dependable performance in challenging weather environments.

Options & Design
To support field visibility and operational flexibility, the Paper Delta Trap is available in green and orange, allowing easy identification during inspections and compatibility with different surveillance protocols.
An internal grid pattern is incorporated to facilitate insect counting and support consistent data collection by field technicians.
Two adhesive configurations are available to match program requirements:
– A pressure-sensitive adhesive insert supplied with a release liner for clean handling and rapid deployment.
– A tangle foot adhesive option for programs requiring an alternative capture surface.
These options allow the trap to be adapted to different operational preferences without modifying the trap structure.
Compatible Lure Dispensers
The Paper Delta Trap can be used with species-specific pheromone lure dispensers according to the target pest and surveillance program requirements.
For Vine Mealybug surveillance, the trap may be paired with a red rubber septum loaded with Vine Mealybug pheromone. The septum functions as the lure dispenser, gradually releasing the attractant inside the trap to support detection, field surveillance, and population monitoring of male Vine Mealybug, Planococcus ficus.
This configuration is used in vineyard surveillance programs where early pest detection, seasonal activity tracking, and reliable field data are required.
